What is an activities director to do when a pandemic shuts down parties and doesn't allow for people to come and visit? Build a stage for safe, outdoor fun, of course!
Kris incubated this idea in the fall of 2020 with movie nights featuring fun films from the 70s and 80s (Goonies, Beetlejuice, Young Frankenstein). Neighbors came and that just fed the obsession.
Loving live music, karaoke nights and holding impromptu circus acts, Kris decided to expand to a theater that would allow for live performances and to let the inner artist in every neighbor and friend have a place to shine!
Neighbors - Tom, Todd, Jaclyn, Bob & Spencer brought the dream to life and built the stage in March 2021. Amy, Stephen and Ophelia sponsored the beautiful curtains. So many shared their talents at the first Variety Show in April.
Kris's partner in crime, Dana, encouraged the process, ran to Lowe's for supplies, and made a website.
